Ocean Waves - Morning Meditation

Waking to the sound of ocean waves soft on the beach

Like a heart beat

Like breathing

Breath in

Breath out

Thoughts rise as dreams fade

Like waves building on the surface of the ocean

Future hopes; past remembrances.

Breath in

Breath out

Stillness below, calm, serene

Soft waves anchor my morning meditation

Like a beating heart

Like breathing in

And breathing out
