Each weekday for twenty minutes starting at 8:30 AM, we practice calming our mind by bringing our attention back to our body with kindness and gentle regard. This is a skill which is best developed over time with regular and frequent practice sessions. Both beginners and experienced meditators are welcome to attend.
During each session, I may offer words of wisdom from teachers like Thich Nhat Hanh, Tara Brach or Jack Kornfield, focusing on topics such as equanimity or self-compassion.
On occasion, I go on retreat or to places that do not have adequate internet service. Check the list of scheduled live sessions below, or my weekly newsletter, to confirm my current schedule.
To register for the 8:30 AM guided meditation sessions, fill out the Contact form below. Sallie will respond with the Zoom link and password which will be good for all future scheduled sessions. You only need to register once.
There is no charge for these sessions. I offer guidance freely in accordance with the Buddhist practice of generosity or giving (“dana”). Any amount is appreciated. I donate all dana I receive to non-profits in support of animal rescue, public education and social equity. See more information here.
